liveova setup guide

Your first stream starts with a clear setup.

Choose one device, prepare the private activation details supplied by support, and follow the setup route that matches your player.

Each subscription is for one device only. Keep your login details private.

Prepare

Have the right details ready.

No credentials are entered or stored on this website. Use only the details supplied privately by support for your assigned device.

  • One compatible device and a stable internet connection.
  • Your activation message: server URL, username and password, or the complete M3U link, if supplied.
  • For supported portal devices: the registered device MAC address and the portal URL supplied by support.
  • A compatible player installed from its official store or developer website. Any separate app activation fee is not included unless explicitly confirmed.
  1. Choose your one device

Confirm the model with support. Each account is for one device only.

  2. Install a compatible player

Use the official app store or developer download. Ask support if the app edition is unclear.

  3. Add your private details

Copy the activation details exactly into the matching login or playlist fields.

  4. Refresh and start viewing

Save, reopen the player, and let the available categories load. Contact support if anything fails.

Pick your route

Choose the device assigned to your account.

Several device categories may be compatible. That does not allow one subscription to be used across several devices.

Smart TV

Check your TV model and app store. Available players vary by operating system and region.

Streaming device / TV box

Install a compatible app through the device store. Only use official developer downloads.

Phone / tablet

Use a supported app with the login or playlist format supplied for your selected device.

Computer / browser

Use a supported desktop player or browser option only when support confirms it for your account.

MAG / portal box

Ask support to confirm compatibility and register the selected box before using a supplied portal.

Player setup

Add the details to your matching app.

These are general setup routes, not a promise of app compatibility. Check the exact app edition with support. Player interfaces can change, and separate app licenses may be required. No affiliation with the player developers is implied.

Hot Player

You will need: App MAC address and the supported M3U or Xtream details supplied by support.

Official playlist upload
  1. Install the correct Hot Player app from an official source and open its device information screen.
  2. Note the MAC address displayed by the app. Confirm it is for the one device assigned to your account.
  3. Open the official upload page, enter the app MAC, and use the matching playlist or server login option.
  4. Save your supplied details, then reload or reopen the app. Menu names can vary by app version.

IBO Player

You will need: The Device ID or MAC and Device Key shown in the matching app edition.

Official device manager
  1. Confirm the exact IBO app edition with support, then install it from its official source.
  2. Keep the device information screen open and copy the Device ID or MAC and Device Key.
  3. Use the manager matching that app edition. Add the supplied M3U playlist or supported server login details.
  4. Save the playlist and fully reopen the player. If the manager does not recognize the app, ask support rather than trying unrelated websites.

BOB Player

You will need: The device information displayed by your app and the playlist format supplied by support.

Official player website
  1. Install the correct BOB Player app from an official source and open it.
  2. Note the device ID or MAC and any Device Key requested by the app.
  3. Visit the official website and follow its playlist management route for that app version.
  4. Add only your supplied activation details, save, and refresh the app. Ask support if the displayed options differ.

Portal route

Using a supported MAG or portal box?

Do not install an unrelated player or enter an unverified portal. Ask support to confirm that your exact box model is supported.

  1. Connect your supported box to the TV and internet, then open its settings.
  2. Find the device MAC address and send it privately to support so the one selected device can be registered.
  3. Ask support for the correct portal URL and the settings route for your box model.
  4. Enter the exact supplied portal URL and use liveova as the portal name. Do not guess or reuse a portal from another service.
  5. Save and restart the box. Contact support if the portal does not load or the model uses a different setup route.
Confirm box compatibility

Quick checks

If something does not work.

My playlist is saved but nothing loads

Refresh or fully reopen the app. Check that the complete URL was copied without added spaces and that the account is active on its assigned device.

The player reports invalid credentials

Copy the supplied username and password exactly; case matters. Do not use a website login. Send an error screenshot privately to support without exposing passwords.

The stream buffers

Restart the player, device, and router. Compare a lower-quality stream and try Ethernet where practical. Network and content conditions can affect quality.

I want to change my device

Contact support first. Each account is for one device only; do not share the same account across devices.

The app asks for an activation payment

Some third-party players require a separate license. A player license and a liveova subscription are different items. Confirm any fee with the developer or support.

Support can help with your setup.

Send your device model, the exact player name, and a screenshot of the error. Hide passwords and payment details. Never post activation details in a public group.
